As a father of 4 and grandfather of 7, Carl understands the importance of education in North Carolina. As a member of the House of Representatives and various Education committees, Carl has worked continuously to provide a better education system for current and future generations of students. He has served on various education committees and worked with his district on calendar flexibility and getting raises for our teachers and principals.
